Wakefield Trinity 12 - 14 Hull KR
Having made a dream return to Super League with a spectacular 14-12 opening round victory at Leeds Rhinos, last season’s Championship Grand Final winners lost by the same score line at an electric DIY Kitchens Stadium. Wakefield were a Max Jowitt conversion attempt away from taking the game to golden point after the exceptional Oliver Pratt got them back to within two points with barely two minutes remaining.
In a thrilling, pulse-pounding clash before an energised crowd, the Robins showcased flashes of their dominant form from last year's remarkable journey to Old Trafford, while Trinity seamlessly resumed their momentum from Headingley. Trinity may feel disappointed to end up on the losing side, but if they ever needed a reminder of Super League's unforgiving nature, they have certainly received the message loud and clear on Friday night, sport can be cruel at this level! Let's relive the action:
One distinguishing feature of Super League Raw is our unwavering passion for the game, transcending the outcomes and rivalries. Among our most celebrated offerings is "In the Sheds," where the illustrious David Cain of Super League Raw provides a unique glimpse into the heart of the games.

The Final Word
Wakey has made it abundantly clear in the opening two rounds that they are not merely here to inflate the statistics. This is excellent news for all #UptheTrin supporters and the Super League overall. Conversely, Hull KR appears to be struggling at the start of the campaign, even though they have shown some improvement since the first round.
The impending announcement regarding the severity of Mikey Lewis's injury, sustained while scoring a remarkable solo try, will draw significant attention. Should the news be unfavourable for Hull KR, they will face a considerable challenge managing a half-back crisis, particularly with Tyrone May side-lined due to a hamstring injury. It is likely that Danny Richardson will be recalled from the Giants, potentially partnering Jez Litten filling one of the half-back positions, while Bill Leyland will be poised to make his mark on the Super League stage at hooker. One thing is certain: the depth of KR's squad is being thoroughly tested in these early rounds.
